We are excited to announce that over 120 Pleasanton Primary Pre-K students have been selected to participate in the Waterford UPSTART Summer Learning Path Program. Waterford UPSTART is an in-home, Kindergarten readiness program that gives a child a fun way of doing reading, math, and science in just 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week using the Waterford Early Learning software. This program provides hundreds of hours of instruction with an individualized learning path, which builds upon the child’s strengths, knowledge, and skills. All students in the program who do not have a computer and/or internet at home will be provided with a new Dell laptop computer and a data card at no cost through the Waterford UPSTART Program. Students will be able to keep the new computer at the end of the summer program. This summer program also provides support for the child’s family through a family coach that gives personalized updates, guidance and encouragement. This is a great opportunity for our Primary students and their families. Pictured here are some students who have already received their new computer to start the Waterford UPSTART Summer Learning Path Program.
