Hello, my name is April Andrada and I am the school counselor here at the Pleasanton Primary. I am a product of Pleasanton ISD and truly enjoy working in the community where I was raised. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Incarnate Word and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M San Antonio. I have been working in education for 12 years (teacher for 7 years and this is my 5th year as a counselor).
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 19 years and together we have one beautiful daughter and our family dog Frenchie named Riley....who we truly adore! When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, reading, going to the movies, and working in the yard.
Counseling is my passion and building relationships is very important to me. I look forward to working with you and your child and supporting you anyway I can.
I have new & exciting things planned for school-wide events, guidance counseling lessons for students, individual and group counseling, and many other exciting things.
